- Category:Meteorological Equipment
- Model:(YOUNG) WS/WD/TEMP
- Characteristics:
The wind speed sensor is composed of four blade-shaped spiral pieces. When the rotation changes, an AC voltage value signal is generated, and the regular and direct proportional conversion is performed into the wind speed. The interior of the wind direction sensor consists of a light wind vane that maintains its stability even in the presence of breeze fluctuations. A precision potentiometer is placed in the sealed room to test the wind vane angle for a known stimulus voltage applied to the potentiometer. The output voltage is directly comparable to the blade (wind vane) angle.
Wind speed
1. Measurement range: Wind speed: 0-50m/s (134mph) Instantaneous maximum: 100m/s (220mph)
2. Accuracy: Wind speed: ±0.3m/s (0.6mph)
3. Starting condition: Wind speed: 1.0m/ s (2.2 mph)
4. Signal output: wind speed AC voltage, 3 pulses / turn 1800 rpm (90 Hz) = 8.8 m / s (19.7 mph)
5. Operating temperature: -50 to 50 ° C
Wind direction
1. Measurement range: Wind direction: 360° (mechanical performance) 355° (electrical characteristics)
2. Accuracy: Wind direction: ±3°
3. Starting condition: Wind direction: 1.1m/s (2.5mph)
4. Signal output: Wind direction : DC voltage is generated from a 10kΩ potentiometer. Linear 0.25% life expectancy of at least 50 million rpm.
5. Working temperature: -50 to 50 °C
